Note:

Kindly remind all customers that this model only retain original SYNC 2 and SYNC 3. It will not retain original SYNC 1.
For SYNC 1 vehicle: The original radio will not be retained. However, it will support the origianl backup camera and origianl steering wheel control as well.
For SYNC 1 vehicle: For SXM / Satellite radio, this system will come with built-in Sirius radio application which required WiFi internet connection.
Another alternative way is by additional module such as Sirius XM Commander (SXVCT1).
This extra module will be connected to the system and will allow you to access the Sirius radio as well.
For SYNC 2 & SYNC 3 vehicle: It will retain all the original features, included but not limited to: original SYNC, original steering wheel control, original radio and Sirius XM radio.

I loved the system I purchase for my Ford Explorer 2018. The system supports and retains all the original features includes my original SYNC APIM. This is a dream for all Ford buyers. I have a 2017 Ford Explorer Base Model, Sync 1, 4″ screen. This unit fit like a glove, installed by a professional installer. $450 for the installation, IL. Climate Control did not work initially. The installer contacted AutoTecPro, and provided great support. The installer simply had to update the firmware for the unit. After that, everything worked like a charm. Huge screen, big Waze map for my CarPlay. I didn’t think I was going to like a Blutooth connection with my iPhone 15 as I’ve always been use to requiring it to be hardwired. But I am loving this unit.
